Henosis is a classical term for profound unity. In Greek philosophical and mystical traditions, it refers to union with the highest reality, a movement from fragmentation toward wholeness. The word carries a contemplative force: it points to a state in which the ordinary sense of separation softens and a deeper coherence becomes perceptible.

In modern usage, henosis can be read both spiritually and practically. Spiritually, it names inner integration and felt oneness. Practically, it suggests alignment, between thought and action, values and choices, self and community. In this way, henosis is not abstract decoration; it is a directional word, pointing toward unity that can be cultivated, embodied, and lived.
